Toland, Gary.  Born 1/26/47.  Died 10/12/14.  

Gary, 67, of Las Vegas, Nev.  was born in Duluth, to Clarence and Pearl Toland. Gary graduated from Duluth's Denfeld High School in 1965 and served in the Air National Guard. Gary had a well established career in the insurance industry and was most recently employed by Western National Insurance Company as a Regional Sales Manager.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nancy (Appleby) Toland; and two sons: Barrett (wife Alison and daught er Addison) of Woodbury, Minn., and Ryan of San Diego, Calif.; and his brother Richard of Superior, Wis.

At Gary's request, there will be no service but a gathering of family and friends for a celebration of life. All are welcome to attend at the Duluth Sheraton, 301 East Superior Street, on Nov. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m.
