Don Pollard was born to Gene and Dorothy Pollard in Marquette, Mich.
Don was currently living in Grand Rapids, MN.  Don’s family lived in many places, including Park Falls, Wis., Virginia, Minn., Proctor, Minn., and Grand Rapids, Minn. He attended schools in these towns, and graduated from Duluth Denfeld High School in 1965. Don was drafted into the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam from 1966-1967. He had several jobs and retired from School District 318 after 33 years as lead carpenter. Don was a life member of the DAV and VFW, and was Past Commander of the American Legion all in Grand Rapids. He was on the board of the Blandin Credit Union, chairman of the Itasca Veterans Committee and chairman of the Van Committee.
The Pollard family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the staff of Kylar Glen and Itasca Hospice for the wonderful care given to Don.
Preceding him in death were his father and older brother.
Don is survived by his wife of 24 years, Terrie; son, Christopher; daughter, Lisa (Kevin); his mother, Dorothy; sister, Kathy; brothers, Brad, Pat, and Joe.
