Nyquist (Harris) Ann Born 5/14/47. Died 4/16/24. Ann Elizabeth Nyquist Harris, 76, of Huntington, West Virginia, died at her home. She was born n Duluth, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Howard and Virginia Nyquist. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Bodie Baire. She was a retired School Teacher having taught at Hibbing, MN Junior High School, Ceredo-Kenova Junior High School, Milton High School and Cabell Midland High School. She received her BS Degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in English and Marshall University in Mathematics, her MS Degree from Marshall University in Library Sciences. She was a member of Enslow Park Presbyterian Church since 1979, where she was a member of the Choir. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Wallace “Rocky” Harris; Two sons and one daughter, Brandon Harris (Stacey) of Honolulu, HI, Brett Harris (Kim) of Milton and Jaclyn Pyles (Kris) of Ona; two sisters and a brother, Penelope Stauduhar, Marcia Hales of Duluth and Doug Nyquist also of Duluth; Her 17 cherished grandchildren, Tyler Baire, Tabatha Baire, Hunter Whitley, Raven Sampson, Kade Gilmore, Kathryn Harris, Logan Harris, Maxwell Harris, Myrrandah Harris, Mallorey Harris, Lafe Harris, Luke Harris, Sydney Harris, Aspen Pyles, Cedar Pyles, Sawyer Harris and Sparrow Harris; great grandchildren, Tilton Baire, Isla Sampson, Kreedon Sampson, Eliana Baire and Everett Mitchell. A gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Enslow Park Presbyterian Church by Pastor Rodrigo Almeida. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Enslow Park Presbyterian Church.
