Jim Pederson, 69, formerly of Duluth and Lake Nichols, passed away in Port Charlotte, Fla. Â He was an avid golfer, cook, wood crafter and builder. Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking and entertaining friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry.
Jim leaves his wife of 50 years, Nancy (Erickson); daughter Laurie (Skip) Abrahamson; son Todd (Patty) Pederson; siblings Judy Bullyan, Gary (Debbie) and Mike (Dianna); brother-in-law Rick Erickson; sisters-in-law Christine Lalli and Sharon Pederson; grandchildren Drew (Christina) and Beau Abrahamson, Jordan Pederson and Dana (Joe) Benson and extended family; great-grandchildren Vern, Anthony, Abby, Avery and Jace; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and wonderful friends.
He was a retired Duluth Firefighter and served in the USAF from 1966-1970. His passion for life, his building talents, wonderful hospitality, cooking, and marvelous wit will be remembered by all.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, in the Village of Holiday Lakes Community Center in Port Charlotte.
A spring service will be held in Duluth. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Northland Volunteer Department in Canyon, Minn.
