Johnson, Thomas.   Born 1/10/46.   Died 8/9/96.
Thomas, 50,  died in St. Mary's Medical Center Hospice. Born in Iron Mountain, Mich., he had lived in Duluth since 1952. He was a 1965 graduate of Denfeld High School. He had worked for U.S. Steel, National Iron, and Lake Haven Manor. He was also a drummer for T-Jays Country-Rock Band for 33 years.
His father, Stanley, died in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Georgia; a son, Judd of Duluth; his mother, Vivian Johnson of Duluth; a sister, Sharon Walczynski of Duluth; and four brothers, Larry, Ted and Dale, all of Duluth, and Jim of Biwabik.
