Feriancek (Rice), Susan.  Born 11/18/1947.  Died 10/15/2024.
Susan Jean Rice of Maple Grove, Minnesota, passed away at the age of seventy-six. She was born in Bemidji, Minnesota, where she grew up with two sisters and two brothers, Janet (Marty), Tom (Aileen), Bruce, and Sarah. Susan graduated from Denfeld High School in Duluth, Minnesota – Class of 1965. She worked in administration for most of her career. Retiring from her administrative career at the City of Brooklyn Center. Susan's hobbies included attending craft shows, collecting bird and dog arts and crafts. She participated in all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren's activities. And watching her beloved Vikings brought excitement (and heartbreak) into her life.

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Clara Feriancek; her ex-husband, Tony Rice; her husband, Eugene (Geno) Olson. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Dennis) Erickson, Shane (Cecille) Rice, Gene (Stacy) Olson, Julie (James) Matson, Chris (Renae) Olson; grandchildren, Seth (Amanda) Sabot, Deyonta Green, KamRon Jacques, Cristian Rice, Jacob (Marea) Anderson, Jaxxon (Carissa) Anderson; great grandchildren, Jayla Sabot, Alayah Green, Carter and Layna Kosson.

The family would like to thank North Memorial Hospice and Susan’s dear friends for the care and compassion they showed her in her final days.
